Her Story
Bailey is a West Highland White Terrier who was never really supposed to stay. We were asked to babysit her back in 2023, just for a little while. That little while turned into forever. She walked into the house, made herself comfortable on the couch, and that was that. She picked us before we even knew we were hers.
She's built for comfort, not speed. Unless there's sand under her paws. Then all bets are off.
Most of the time, Bailey is the quietest dog you'll ever meet. She sleeps like it's her full-time job and she's gunning for a promotion. But the second it's potty time or dinner time, something switches. She stomps her little feet on the ground and gives you this look of absolute urgency, like the world is ending and you're the only one who can save it. It's dramatic. It's hilarious. It happens every single day.
Her walks are... not exactly athletic. She stops to smell every flower. She freezes and stares into the distance at absolutely nothing. We call them ghosts, because honestly, what else could she be looking at? Other dogs don't really register with her. She'll walk right past a labrador without blinking. But put a Yorkie in front of her and suddenly she's a puppy again, all energy and excitement and wagging tail. Nobody else gets that reaction. Just Yorkies. We don't make the rules.
And then there's the beach. The one place where Bailey actually runs. Not a trot, not a jog. A full, ears-back, paws-off-the-ground sprint. It's the only time you'll see her move like that, and it's something else. She deserved a song. So we made her one.

The Essentials
Her number one talent. She sleeps like she's training for it. Couch, bed, floor, doesn't matter. Do not wake her. She will not forgive you.
The only place she runs. Sand hits her paws and something clicks. Full sprint, ears pinned back, pure joy. You won't believe it's the same dog.
When dinner is coming, you'll know. The feet start stomping, the eyes go wide, and she looks at you like she hasn't eaten in three years. Every. Single. Time.
Every other dog gets completely ignored. Labradors, spaniels, huskies, doesn't care. But a Yorkie? Suddenly she's a whole different dog. We don't make the rules.
